ValueOne is looking for a Senior Buyer for a consulting assignment with one of our clients in the manufacturing industry in Arvika. The assignment starts immediately and runs for 6 months, with the possibility of extension.

We offer our clients services in three business areas: rental of purchasing and logistics consultants, recruitment of buyers and logisticians, and Management Consulting where ValueOne develops our clients' purchasing, logistics, and supply chain in terms of strategy, model, method, process, organization, and competence.

About the role

As a Senior Buyer, you have overall responsibility for the procurement of both direct and indirect goods and services. Your role is to ensure efficient purchasing processes and create added value for the business through professional supplier management and business negotiations.

• Drive the entire purchasing process from needs analysis to completed contract for direct and indirect goods and services related to production.
• Maintain a continuous dialogue with suppliers to evaluate and follow up on their performance.
• Conduct price negotiations and negotiate commercial terms for both existing and new contracts.
• Actively participate in improvement work focusing on cost-effectiveness, quality, and delivery reliability.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure optimal solutions.

Experience and skills

We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience in similar purchasing roles within the manufacturing industry, with documented expertise in supplier negotiations. You have good IT skills and are proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. A degree in purchasing or economics is a plus.

You are self-driven, structured, and have strong communication skills, with experience collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders. Business acumen and the ability to drive improvement initiatives are highly valued.
